We are truly motivated by making a positive difference and by providing our clients with the safety and independence that will allow them to continue to live fulfilling lives.** **Warehouse Associate** Your goal in this position is to perform Warehouse activities & Deliveries, in addition to Shipping & Receiving duties. A keen attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed. **On a practical level, your day to day duties will be to**: - Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment - Maintain inventory of products - Verify shipments received against shipping documents - Process, pack, and ship orders - Receive, sort, and store products - Inspect products for damages; report as needed - Deliveries and minor installations - Assemble and inspect equipment - Work closely with Service and Sales departments - Operate fleet vehicles in a safe and courteous manner - Follow all company safety protocol, policies, and procedures **Working at SUPERIOR Home Health Care** This is a full-time permanent position, working 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Most of your day will be spent maintaining the warehouse and processing shipments and/or assembling equipment like walkers and wheelchairs. We strongly believe in the value of family and work-life balance, and offer a supportive environment for you to grow your career in. **Specifically, we want you to have the following qualifications**: - Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail - Exceptional people skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment - Comfortable and knowledgeable with manual and power tools - Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively - Basic computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail - Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs - Possess a clean, valid, Ontario Driver’s license - Previous work experience in a Warehouse or Shipping & Receiving is an asset - Previous work experience in the Home Medical Equipment industry is an asset - Construction skills an asset - Must have a friendly, positive attitude and the ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $16.00-$22.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - warehouse: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
