Mississauga, Canada The Nanny Dept Full time

A lovely family in Mississauga is in search of their first full time permanent Nanny to care for their 4 month old infant. This position has a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The ideal Nanny is reliable, compassionate and responsible. You will have experience in early childhood development and the ability to care for the baby through both infancy and toddlerhood. (Knowledge of Montessori a huge asset).

The family is looking for someone to become an extension of their family in caring for their baby. This is the family's first baby and Mum will be returning to work in August. Mum may have to travel once or twice a month and at that time the Nanny may be asked to work overtime in the evening hours (advance notice is always provided and overtime will be paid for any extra hours worked). The family is vegetarian so you will need to be comfortable with cooking and preparing vegetarian meals once the baby is introduced to solids.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safety and wellness of baby at all times
- Organizing and engaging in creative activities during playtime including taking baby to outdoor activities such as story time, music class etc.
- Diaper changing, dressing, feeding
- Once the baby is introduced to solids, organizing nutritious meals
- Maintain baby's nap and sleep schedules
- Light housekeeping tasks while the baby naps

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years professional childcare experience
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen
- Driver required
- Fully vaccinated
- Bilingual is a bonus
