This position will involve working the day shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a guarantee.
Reporting to the Manager of Cardio/Respiratory, the Respiratory Therapy Aide (RT Aide) is responsible for
various support functions within the Cardio/Respiratory Service including reprocessing equipment, stocking
units, transporting medical gas cylinders, and preparing patients for stress testing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma
- Must have health care (clinical) related training
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Respiratory Aide preferred
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Possess strong interpersonal and organization skills
- Medical terminology and courses in cardio/pulmonary anatomy and physiology preferred
- Strong commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care
Salary Range: $26.920 to 27.353
