We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our compassionate team at The Campus of Currie Green located in [Calgary]. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care and support to our senior residents, ensuring their health and well-being.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Educate residents and families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Support residents with daily activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives.
- **Qualifications**:

- Valid LPN license.
- Proven experience in long-term care or assisted living settings.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and critical care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with residents, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
- Compassionate approach to senior care with a commitment to enhancing quality of life.
