Construction Flagger

Bayview Group is a growing local Winnipeg construction company providing heavy construction services such as; road building, sewer and water, aggregate sales, concrete crushing, and municipal services to our communities. We are looking to expand our team and are currently accepting resumes for the following position:
**CONSTRUCTION FLAGGER**

**Job Overview**:
Directly reporting to the Crew Foreman, the Flagger will be responsible for directing traffic and ensuring safety in areas where road work or other activities are taking place. Training will be provided to obtain certification, unless already certified. Job location will be in Minnedosa and in Jenpeg, Manitoba. Boarding will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicating with Site Supervisors and other Flagger’s to ensure traffic is flowing efficiently and with as mínimal disruption as possible.
- Following the traffic control plan as written and communicated by the Site Supervisor or Crew Foreman.
- Interacting with pedestrians and motorists, as needed.
- Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
- Working at multiple locations and under a variety of weather conditions.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team.
- Previous experience as a Flagger considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A safety conscious demeanor and willingness to adhere to company safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to multiple locations.
- Must be willing to work long hours and weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
