Landscape Team Members

As our company continues to grow, we seek to add new staff to both our landscape construction and landscape maintenance divisions. These positions are available to inexperienced or new people to the labour market.

These positions will effectively work within a landscape construction or maintenance team, involved in all areas of landscaping such as hardscaping, softscaping, and property maintenance. You will work closely with a Crew Leader on a day-to-day basis to outline daily tasks. These positions offer full time hours on a yearly basis.

Job Role:
Work within a landscape construction or maintenance crew. No experience is needed.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 License and vehicle to commute to our shop in St. Andrew’s
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to work manual labour for 10-12 hours per day
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Daily Tasks Include:

- Safely work around heavy equipment
- Moving landscape materials with wheel barrows, shovels, rakes etc. around a job-site
- Operating small engine equipment like back pack blowers, lawn mowers, trimmers, concrete saws, etc.
- Cutting lawns, trimming grass, cleaning hardscape areas
- Working with construction hand tools
- Clean work sites and prepare materials for transport

- Work effectively alone and as a team
- Communicate freely with other staff members
- Ability to lift 55+ lbs
- Excellent problem solving skills

Length of Employment:

- Full time from approx. April 1 - Dec. 1
- Part-time and full-time employment available in Winter completing snow removal or carpentry work

Expected Hours:

- Monday to Friday
- Weather and schedule may require some Saturday work.
- 10-12 hours per day

Compensation:

- Starting wage of $20-$26/hr based on experience and skill set
- Paid overtime
