Job description

We are urgently looking to add a Canning Line Operator to the team. This person will be operating the canning line and accessory equipment to efficiently package our beer and our COOP brewery member’s beer while ensuring a safe and high quality packaging environment. This person would also help with can decoration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain high level of quality service and customer satisfaction
- Strongly enforcing quality control measures
- Operate canning line, labeller, date coder and other accessory equipment
- Routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment
- Prepping truck with materials for each job
- Working closely with brewery management, brewers and packaging staff
- Communicate effectively with staff from COOP Breweries
- Operate can decorating equipment

**Requirements**:

- Committed to exceeding customer expectations and champion quality processes
- Work safely - protect yourself and others
- Attention to detail; you are able to identify irregularities in operation - report and fix
- You enjoy working with your hands and have the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment on site
- You're a self starter who takes pride in their work and is dedicated to getting the job done right
- Travelling to different craft breweries in the greater Ottawa area
- Ability to communicate and stay positive while working with all different types of personalities and customers
- Experience driving a truck an asset
- Experience in the brewing industry or packaging is an asset but not required
