In order to keep up with our growth we will be seeking experienced, professional, energetic, goal-oriented individuals to complement our organization.

We are looking for a **Safety Supervisor** who will enforce general safety policies, procedures and practices in compliance with federal, provincial, and local safety rules and regulations. In addition, Safety Supervisor with guidance of Safety Manager will lead training sections of designated employees including safety education, accident prevention, loss control and regulatory compliance.

**Responsibilities**:
The successful applicant will direct the activities of workers compensation, general liability and vehicle liability, responsible for insuring that OSHA, EPA and DOT record requirements are met, perform periodic inspections of facilities, grounds and equipment in order to identify any safety issues, accountable for timely accident investigations that engages company property, equipment and drivers. Prepare and analyze SH&E reports and compose recommendations based on the data. Coordinate with external safety auditors and answering questions to third parties on the ACS HSE management system.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in Safety Department
- College/University degree in Business management or related field (an asset)
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Self
- Directed and decision maker
- Ability to handle crisis situations well
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must have knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT federal, local and company regulations concerning safety and hazardous materials.
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Good team player
