**Role Description**:
The Content Marketer will manage the creation and implementation of consistent written and visual content across various channels to meet company objectives and drive audience engagement. This is an in office role, located at Don Mills and Eglinton in Toronto.

**Personal Qualities**:
The individual should be creative, innovative and deadline-oriented. This individual is highly creative with a desire to create written and short-form video content that captures audience attention. Attention to detail, high organization and planning capabilities should be evident. This individual will value education and working in an environment with high standards of performance.
This individual is passionate about the Spirit of Math vision and is excited to see the company grow. This individual thrives on increasing the exposure and profile of the company. They are comfortable and confident in representing Spirit of Math with customers and the media.

**Skilled Knowledge & Experience**:
The role requires knowledge of current marketing trends related specifically to copywriting and content creation, ideally with experience writing and creating content directed at parents or in the education sector. This individual should have experience creating content for marketing campaigns in a number of media including print advertising and online advertising. Attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential. The individual will be comfortable pitching new ideas. The individual will have the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on tasks to completion. They will have a creative orientation that enables them to generate novel ideas to capture audience attention.

**Education**:

- A degree from a recognized university is required, preferably in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.

**Responsibilities**:
The Content Marketer will report to the Marketing Manager and be responsible for:

- Execute on content marketing strategies to support overall business objectives
- Manage and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation
- Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve organic search rankings
- Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools to make data-driven decisions
- Experienced in growing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Youtube).
- Comfortable in front of the camera and able to edit your own videos is a plus
- Perform general administrative tasks and other duties as required
