**Position Summary**
**A day in the life of a Technical Packaging Intern**
As an intern you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the packaging environment, from working on sustainability improvements to supporting team members in various packaging projects. You will work closely with the packaging team, learn from industry professionals and contribute to real-world projects.
You will also:
- Work with our local factories to run packaging performance trials
- Work with cross functional teams to pitch ideas and get alignment on packaging innovations
- Write specifications in our SAP system
- Lead some competitive packaging analysis and Nestle packaging by co-ordinating required testing
- Data collection and analysis to help team determine future cost savings projects
**What will make you successful?**
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program in a Packaging or Engineering program.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities which demonstrate initiative and leadership.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively across all functions and levels.
- Fast learner, and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, challenging environment.
- A results and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint is required.
