**Responsibilites**:
Probation Period: During the probational period (3 months), the analyst under the supervision of the Technical Laboratory Manager shall successfully complete our PDNA 7003 course, analyze a range of samples routinely encountered in forensic casework prior to independent work. Additionally, the analyst shall successfully complete a Proficiency Competency test before beginning independent DNA analysis.
- Carry our laboratory protocols related to:
I. DNA Extraction from environmental samples including degraded materials

II. DNA Extraction from biological samples

III. Human and Non-human DNA ID

IV. Real-Time PCR V. DNA Fragment Analysis

VI. DNA quantification.
- Maintain detailed and accurate daily records.
- Organize supplies and prepare stock solutions.
- Perform quality testing of reagent shipments and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Facilitate in SOP review, update and revision.
- Other duties as assigned.
