Truro Vet is a privately owned, AAHA accredited, Cat Friendly certified, and practice Low-Stress Handling/Fear Free. Our four veterinarians are well supported by experienced staff members, and we use a collaborative approach to patient care that allows for mentoring.

Of our 20 full time support staff, almost half have been with us longer than 5 years and many of them more than 10 years. **Job description**

Are you ready to assist our clients and pets in an innovative and empathetic veterinary hospital? Do you have a commitment to learning? If you are the veterinary receptionist we are looking for you’ll be outgoing, empathetic, compassionate, and genuinely enjoy working with the public. You will use your communication and problem-solving skills to accomodate both the needs of our clients and the needs of our hospital. You will be responsible for 4 major roles at Truro Vet Hospital: 1) client communication; 2) client education and sales; 3) client scheduling; and 4) maintaining hospital cleanliness.
You’ll need to be professional, trustworthy, and industrious, have some previous cat and dog experience, be punctual, and love smiling.

**Salary**: $16.92-$20.21 per hour
