**Position Responsibilities**
- **Job Duties will include**:

- Maintain, develop and instruct the theory and shop components of the Alberta Auto Service Technician Apprenticeship program
- Ongoing planning and curriculum review
- Participate in school, program, and other polytechnic service committees
- Program promotion and student recruitment

**Required Qualifications**
- Alberta Journeyman Certificate in Auto Service Technician
- Inter-provincial Red Seal Certificate
- Minimum 5 years post-Journeyman work experience
- Minimum 5 years post-secondary teaching experience
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Aptitude for mentoring and coaching others
- Comfortable with public speaking, and able to convey course topics to diverse students and learning styles

**Preferred Qualifications**- Experience teaching post-secondary learners through both in-person and online formats
- Journeyman certification in one or more additional related trades
