**Details**:
The Ottawa Model for Smoking Cessation at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute is seeking an experienced and energetic Evaluation Specialist to oversee program evaluation and quality improvement activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute evaluation plans, complete program evaluation.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication.
- Prepare Research Ethics Board submissions.
- Conduct surveys, needs assessments, focus groups, and other qualitative data techniques.
- Complete data input, analysis, and management.
- Actively participate in project team meetings and other project meetings and events.
- Assist in writing updates and reports.
- Complete other tasks assigned by Director, Division Chief, or Manager, as required.

**Basic requirements**:

- Master’s degree or higher in health science-related discipline with strong preference for PhD.
- 3 years’ demonstrated program evaluation experience.
- Demonstrated publication record.

**Competencies**:

- Evaluation methodology.
- Data analysis.
- Excellent scientific writer (with demonstrated publication history).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Bilingual (English and French).
- Experience in behavioural science, health science, and/or epidemiology.
- Smoking Cessation experience.
