Metrology Technician

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
Reporting to the Technical Director, your main mandate will be to ensure compliance with quality standards and processes in effect within the company in order to promote good practices in this area.
Here's an overview of your tasks:
- Respect the safety standards and the established production standards
- Interpret plans, drawings and technical specifications
- Measure production parts using measuring instruments
- Produce acceptance reports for new parts
- Manage calibrations using a computerized system
- Prepare, assemble and calibrate various instruments for production
- Prepare part non-conformance reports
- Produce dimensional reports indicating part measurements and tolerances
