**Equipment yard operations person required Full Time**

The person we are looking for will look after and maintain our equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and standards of our company. As required move equipment to work site farms **must have class 1 licence**, this position is for someone who has good mechanical and organizational skills, the person in this position will take charge of our equipment yard and work under the direction of our operation manager.

**Duties / responsibilities of job**:

- Use of hand tools and equipment to perform job tasks.
- Complete regular maintenance on company vehicles and equipment as required in a timely fashion.
- Keep and maintain vehicle maintenance records.
- Ensure vehicle inspections are done on time and kept up to date.
- Load and transport equipment to farm job sites as required.
- Clean and repair equipment as needed.
- Keep shop area clean and organized.
- Check fluid levels on equipment before loading check for damage when un-loading.
- Longer hours are possible and some Saturday work.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team.
- Other duties as assigned by the operations manager

**Experience Required**:
Previous experience loading and driving trucks with trailers hauling equipment, forklift ticket, **must have valid class 1 license**, mechanically inclined able to repair and maintain equipment as required, must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Starting rate:
$28.00 per hour to start review after 3 months.

Company supplied cell phone or phone allowance.

Benefits package after 3 months.
