**Make a Difference**
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive employee records within the HRIS system (Dayforce).
- Provide proactive and timely guidance to People Leaders on employee relations matters.
- Assist with employee onboarding, orientation and training.
- Prepare formal communications to employees related to HR matters.
- Backup for payroll as required.
- Draft general forms, letters and reports as necessary.
- Assist with the development, distribution and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Support organization-wide compliance with policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties as required.
**Showcase your Talents & Achievements**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field; active or working towards CPHR designation.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on HRIS management, full-cycle recruitment, and payroll administration.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, employment standards (BC, AB, SK)
- Experience supporting a US employee base would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Dayforce and MS Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new HR technologies and systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and experience effectively engaging with employees, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commit to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established health, safety, and quality standards. Actively participate in safety initiatives, report potential hazards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
- A good sense of humour and strong admiration of all things Swayze (Patrick) is an asset.
