Novus Rehab is looking to expand our team of counselors (social worker or psychotherapist), providing services both within the insurance sector (auto insurance and LTD) as well as private pay services. This full-time position (or 0.8 FTE) can start immediately. We primarily see clients in their homes or the community, and use our home offices for the paperwork tasks; we do have a small office in St. Thomas and London for clients who prefer to meet outside their home. This is a very autonomous and self-directed position, so you manage the client needs and flex your schedule as it works for them and for you. While the London area is our home base, we see clients across southwestern Ontario.

What you bring to the table:

- A Degree in Social Work or Counselling, including registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers / the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- 3-5 years experience providing individual counselling to support challenges with mental health, trauma, adjustment, grief and relationships
- You will certainly be working with adult clients, but experience with children would be a great asset
- Strong communication skills, including written assessment and treatment reports for our auto insurance clients
- An appreciation for team collaboration in working toward the client’s goals
- Willingness to offer both virtual and in-person sessions depending on need
