Test Automation Specialist

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
- Expand our existing test automation framework and test coverage by becoming proficient at creating, managing, and organizing a suite of test automation, ensuring optimal user experience coverage.
- Collaborate with other Riva stakeholders, including Professional Services, DevOps, and IT resources, to set up and maintain Riva pre-production environments used for testing that reflect customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Product Owners and the broader product and development team to understand how new features should be tested and contribute to automated tests for these new features.
- Work with Riva’s technical support and developer teams to identify, replicate, confirm and communicate bugs and implement recommendations of bug fixes related to Riva development for remediation.
- Collaborate with developers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process.
- Analyze complex software systems and collaborate with others to improve the overall design, testability, and quality.
- Configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environments.
- Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner.
- Participate in test pipeline triage rotation and promptly triage pipeline failures.
- Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**
- Post-secondary education in computer science, computer engineering technology, or software testing.
- At least three (3) years of software testing work experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in automated testing with Selenium.
- Experience with C-based languages with a preferred skill set in C# and Javascript
- Experience writing PowerShell scripts.
- Working experience with AWS or Azure.
- Working experience Source control tools such as Tortoise SVN or Git.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools.
- Ability to listen, understand, interpret, and resolve complex issues.
- Desire to learn new skills and a continual effort to improve and refine skills.
- Ability to focus and work with interruptions in an exciting and growing company.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in written and spoken English.

**Bonus Points For**:

- Secondary language skills.
- Testing Certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
- Web server configuration and troubleshooting.
- Working experience with Salesforce.
- Working experience with collaboration systems like Exchange, Office 365, and GSuite.
- Complex Application Integration.
- Working experience with testing software such as TestRail, NUnit, Telerik Test Studio, Cucumber, or SpecFlow.
- Working experience with TeamCity, Terraform, and Octopus Deploy.
