Stuart and Hill Construction, is a general contracting company offering construction services for the residential and commercial markets. We service the Simcoe/Muskoka region. We are looking for Skilled Construction Labourers to join our growing team Worksites are across Simcoe. We offer competitive compensation based on previous applicable experience.

**CONSTRUCTION LABOURER**

**RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING**:

- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Assist with tasks, including but not limited to construction, maintenance or repair work.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites to ensure a safe and organized working environment, including general maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
- Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools and machinery as needed.
- Support team members in various construction activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

**REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS**:

- Valid drivers licence.
- Have working phone with data, for sign in availability/notes for jobs.
- PPE - CSA approved footwear, safety glasses, etc.
- Previous experience in labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Positive attitude, reliability and solid work ethic.
- Proper behavior and respect for clients and company.
- Represent the company on site in a presentable and professional manner.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Understanding of safety procedures in a labor environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
