We are currently recruiting for a **Human Resources Generalist** with the following responsibilities:

- Processes the biweekly payroll and handles any concerns related to payment or hours of work
- Oversees the time and attendance system and generates required reports from it
- Posts all vacant job positions, schedules interviews and assists in the hiring process including performing reference checks and offer letters
- Conducts the on-boarding process and provides the required initial training for all new hires
- Orders and maintains the appropriate uniforms and safety equipment for the facility employees
- Administration of the Group Benefits Plan for eligible employees
- Develops and submits the annual training plan to the Board of Directors, Coordinating completion of the approved training throughout the year.
- Promotion of Health & Safety within the facility, as an active member of the JHSC and set up the required training needs for legal compliance
- Manages any WSIB claims and formulates early and safe return to work programs as per company policy
- Provides support to managers and employees in responding to inquiries on all aspects of Human Resources policies, forms and procedures
- Liaise with HR Central Group Structure

**Qualifications**: Degree or Diploma in Human Resources and at least 3 years’ experience working in the field.

**Experience**:

- Human Resources: 5 years (preferred)
