This Position reports to:
Complex Proposals Leader
In this project-based position, you will be the expert in delivering competitive bids, estimates and quotes to customers for electrical low voltage distribution systems focusing on motor control centers, switchboards, switchgears load centers, and panelboards for Smart Power & Smart Building divisions in
Canada.
This Position reports to: Complex Proposal Leader - Western & Central Region
The work model for the role is hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Electrification - ELSB/ELSP Smart Building/Smart Power in Canada
**Your Role: Own the Challenge**
- Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
- Creating well-documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
- Managing the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
- Ensuring that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate delivery of proposals based on critical project submission deadlines through coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to an effective and positive customer relationship throughout the proposal process & Issue responses to RFI/RFQ's Collaborating through teamwork and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project execution
- Create, maintain, and follow up on project opportunities in Salesforce
**What it takes to run what runs the world**
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with proven technical and analytical competencies in the field.
- You Immersed in and highly skilled in working with technical tools, proposal methodologies, and the electrical engineering sector.
- Over 5 years of relevant industry / manufacturer experience, with a strong track record in formulating medium to complex proposals.
- Possess strong knowledge of low voltage distribution systems and the ability to accurately interpret technical specifications and single-line diagrams.
- Proficient in Salesforce and other CRM platforms (considered an asset).
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously in a collaborative, solution-focused, and detail-oriented manner.
- Passionate about problem-solving, innovation, and clear technical communication within cross-functional teams.
