**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared according to our standards of excellence and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and eager to contribute to a dynamic kitchen team.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food service operations.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar food industry setting is necessary
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
