We are currently looking for a **Full-Time** Optometrist Assistant for our **Optometry **location. If you enjoy working in a team environment and have exceptional communication and organizational skills, then keep on reading We are looking for someone is who is versatile and provides personable customer interactions that will make our clients feel at ease. As an Optometrist Assistant you will be responsible for the following:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling appointments via the Optosys
- Collecting Payments/ billing third party Extended Health
- Handling client questions or concerns
- Providing a knowledgeable, professional and friendly experience for all clients
- Cleaning and sanitization of the clinic
- Maintaining confidentiality with regards to client records
- Assisting patients with frame styling, contact lens fitting, frame dispensing
- Other administrative and front desk duties as needed

**Required Skills and Knowledge**:

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability
- Experience in retail sales an asset

**Language**:

- English: Mandatory

**Experience**:

- Administrative/Receptionist: 1 Year (Asset)
- Customer Service: 1 Year (preferred)
- Optometric Assistant: 1 Year (preferred)

Compensation: Hourly compensation is dependent on experience, qualifications, and transferrable skills.

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
