North-Wood Environmental Services (NWES) is a leading environmental contracting company providing exceptional environmental services to our clients.

We are looking for personable, hard-working, and physically capable persons to join us as a Site Attendant at our Solid Waste Eco Depots and Transfer Stations.

Locations: 70 Mile, Clinton, Loon Lake, Boston Flats, Savona, Logan Lake, Spences Bridge, Lytton, Lower Nicola (Merritt), Aspen Grove and Brookmere.

You will be reporting directly to the area Supervisor.

**Skills Required**:

- Committed to safety
- Outstanding customer service
- Able to listen, communicate and take direction
- Able to work individually and as a team
- Detail orientated with strong interpersonal skills

**Duties include**:

- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Carry out their regular duties associated with processing loads of municipal solid waste including assisting customers with guidance, handling small appliances and recyclable materials
- Maintenance of our yard and facility based on production needs including sorting and disposal areas
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
- Able work in a variety of different weather conditions
- Other duties as required including, but not limited to cutting grass, sweeping and ensuring all visitors are in compliance with our policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience is an asset but not required
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving
- Be a team player and contribute where needed
- WHMIS experience

Full-time positions available. Each facility has their own core facility hours, and you may be required to work weekends and holidays. Coverage is important and opportunities for working within surrounding area Eco Depots / Transfer Stations are available.

**Salary**: Competitive wage and benefits

After three months of continuous employment, you have the option to join our full Medical and Dental benefits package and RRSP matching program.
