Dump Truck Driver

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and materials transported.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the dump truck as necessary.
**Skills**
- 2 years of experience driving a dump truck.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and material types commonly transported by dump trucks.
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
