**Position Summary**:
This course focuses on the business of game development in today’s evolving game industry. Students will learn how to develop a range of professional, critical, and values driven business development, leadership, and team management skills that are essential for success such as launching a game studio, budgeting, business planning, game financing and marketing, networking, and career management. Throughout the course, special attention will be given to the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of game development, ensuring that students are prepared to contribute to a more inclusive and equitable future for the industry.

- Degree in Business or equivalent; Master's degree in business; or professional experience with the entrepreneurial process.
- Experience in the games industry with entrepreneurial projects (preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the business model canvas, value proposition design canvas, customer discovery and lean start-up methodology, as well as current theory regarding entrepreneurial mindset and practices.
