Job Description: Cannabis Store Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cannabis Store Manager to oversee the operations of our thriving cannabis retail store. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of knowledgeable staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and achieving sales targets. This is a full-time position that requires a deep understanding of the cannabis industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing a positive and educational experience to our valued customers.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Store Operations Management:

- Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, cash handling, and security protocols.
- Develop and implement effective store policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment that aligns with the company's brand image and standards.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

- Recruit, train, and manage a knowledgeable and customer-focused team.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to enhance employee performance and foster a positive work culture.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication and team collaboration.

3. Customer Service Excellence:

- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers, addressing inquiries, and providing accurate product information.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, building loyalty and promoting repeat business.

4. Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement effective sales techniques, upselling strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales potential.

5. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

- Ensure strict compliance with local and state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and maintain accurate knowledge of product inventory and labelling requirements.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure adherence to legal and compliance obligations.

6. Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and reconciling products.
- Implement inventory control processes to minimize loss, ensure accurate stock counts, and reduce product expiry.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience (3+ years) in a management role within the cannabis industry or a closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and staff.
- Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Strong understanding of local and state cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 2 years (required)
- Cannabis Retail: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Cannsell Certificate (required)
