**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly
- Administer medications and manage medication records following HIPAA guidelines
- Perform vital signs checks such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
- Support patients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies
- Operate electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient information accurately
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, Hoyer lift transfers, and hospice care support
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support patients with mobility using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control standards

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in Punjabi is essential; proficiency in English is preferred
- Prior experience in senior care, long-term care, or home health environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and medical documentation procedures
- Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer’s or dementia care are advantageous
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; experience with live-in employment is a plus
