Customer Service Team Lead

Juan de Fuca Veterinary Clinic is a busy six-seven doctor practice. We are seeking a compassionate caring individual with a high level of customer service skills to join our JDF leadership team.
Client Service Representatives (CSR's) are a critical members of our team as they are the first and last point of contact for our clients. This person will ensure high quality care for our patients and the families that care for them by creating an environment that makes them feel special as soon as they walk through the door. We all work together as a team so this person must be capable of creating positive interactions with fellow team members and clients under all circumstances.
Our Client Service Representative Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Exemplary customer service and client interaction
- Accurate invoicing, billing, and cash drawer balancing
- Accurate computer data entry and medical chart preparation
- Scheduling surgical appointments
- Answering multi phone lines -- we have 6
- Prioritizing a busy workflow while working with a diverse clientele
- Ability to accurately multitask is a must as we are a very busy veterinary hospital
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information
- Computer skills required as we are a paper lite hospital
- General cleaning duties
In addition to basic CSR duties - Team Leader is responsible for:
- Mentor and guide CSR team
- Liaison between CSR team and leadership team
- Elevated point of contact for client care and retention
- Supporting the Hospital Manager when/where needed
The position offered is that of permanent full-time lead client service representative (Lead CSR). To qualify for this position, applicant MUST have a minimum of one-year recent experience in a supervisory or lead role - and MUST have 3-5 years experience in a veterinary setting, office or admin.
Applicants must be flexible with work schedules - available to work evenings and some Saturdays required. Position will average approximately 40 hours weekly.
