**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Work in conjunction with JA Tech’s technical & construction team to perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, specialized installation, commissioning, & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system
- Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech’s Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Manual
- Comply with Electrical Code, safety standards, & other applicable legislation
- Perform other duties as required
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Valid 4th year apprentice card
- Valid Fall Protection
- GMSA is an asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication, & problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)
- High voltage terminations and/or Fiber experience is considered an asset
- Industrial Site experience
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines without supervision
- Self motivates with a pro-active attitude & ability to pitch in & do what is required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Willingness to travel regularly to job sites
- Proficiency in the Windows environment & Microsoft Office
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
