**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and drive trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including checking fluid levels and conducting minor repairs as needed.
- Utilize forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading freight.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or freight transportation is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, as it aids in performing minor maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is beneficial for loading and unloading processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
