Job description

**Job Title**: Part-Time Research Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Study Coordination**: Assist in the planning, execution, and management of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- **Participant Recruitment**: Engage with potential study participants, conduct eligibility assessments, and obtain informed consent.
- **Data Management**: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of trial activities, including regulatory documents, participant information, and study protocols.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with clinical staff, investigators, and external partners to facilitate smooth trial operations.
- **Monitoring**: Regularly monitor trial progress, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any issues that arise.
- **Reporting**: Prepare progress reports and assist in the submission of necessary documentation to regulatory agencies.

**Qualifications**:

- **Location**: Must reside in Nova Scotia.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in clinical trials, preferably in a healthcare or dermatology setting.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., life sciences, nursing) is preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency in data management and analysis software is a plus.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
