**Requirements**:

- Appropriate certification (ECE Assistant )
- CPR

Duties include; “but not limited to”
- Plan, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children; These include circle time, arts and crafts, etc.
- Prepare children academically and socially for school/kindergarten
- Support and involve family in care
- Assist children in all aspects of growth and development
- Must assist in the organization and sanitization of the Center and keep up with general housekeeping duties/ reducing contamination
- Use a variety of teaching techniques including modelling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing
- Must be familiar with Fraser health rules and regulations and ensure that these standards are met.
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children
- Help with preparing snack and changing diapers
