We are an enthusiastic team of professionals working together in a supportive environment and we have the perfect opportunity for you. Our up to date and modern Oakville orthodontic office is looking for an outgoing, detail oriented, level II dental assistant who embraces new challenges, teamwork and is passionate about patient care.
This part time position consists of Mondays (7:45am - 4:30pm), Wednesdays (7:45am - 4:30pm, and approximately 1 Thursday per month (7:45am - 4:30pm). No evenings or weekends. Full time hours are an option if preferred.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Taking intraoral records (photos and iTero scans) and radiographs
- Charting
- Sterilization
- Assisting with the doctors and dental hygienist's chairside
- Willingness to perform other duties within the practice to help with practice efficiency
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a positive attitude when facing challenges
- Comfortable with technology and computers
