Established in 1964, Daybar Industries Limited is a privately held corporation with facilities in Brampton, Calgary, Florida, Texas, Atlanta and Arizona.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Onboard new customers, following established corporate policy.
- Assess customers credit worthiness and set and manage customer credit limits
- Ensure compliance with our credit insurer’s policies.
- File and manage claims with credit insurer with delinquent customer accounts.
- Assist in the collections of outstanding customer amounts.
- Send customer's statements and dunning letters on a periodical basis.
- Utilize available credit information to evaluate credit risk, determine payment terms, and set appropriate credit limits for new accounts.
- Manage escalated and high-dollar receivables, negotiating payment arrangements, and recommending actions for bad debt, collections, or legal recourse.
- Monitor the Accounts Receivables of multiple locations to ensure timely collection of funds.
- Implement and closely monitor internal control policies, procedures and processes
- Perform, Process and Manage the Request for Credit procedure, following established corporate policy.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by AR staff and that all transactions are correctly reflected in the accounts
- Other duties as required

**Credit Manager Requirements**:

- University degree in Accounting/Finance
- CCP in good standing preferred
- 3-5 years Credit Management experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Strong knowledge and focus on internal controls and compliance
- Strong understanding of the Accounts Receivable module in a recognized ERP system.
- Excellent judgement, problem solving and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
