Cloverdale Robotics is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Coding Instructors to join our team across Lower mainland/Fraser Valley British Columbia. Teachers with lot of experience managing elementary/middle school students without coding knowledge but eager to learn are also welcome (We will train experienced teachers).

**Position Details**:

- **Role Type**: Part-Time, Permanent, Contract (3 month at a time & renewable)
- **Work Location**: In person, Lower mainland, Fraser Valley schools.

**Responsibilities**:As a Coding Instructor at Cloverdale Robotics Learning, you will:

- Conduct engaging coding classes using visual programming languages like Scratch.
- Receive training and utilize provided curricula.
- Manage a class of 12 to 20 students, fostering a positive and safe learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Ensure the safe handling and return of equipment.
- Provide constructive feedback to parents and management.
- Generate term reports for students.
- Wear company-provided T-shirts during teaching.

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 year Experience teaching school-age kids in a group setting.
- Availability from 2 pm to 5 pm one or more of the weekdays.
- Punctuality and professionalism.
- Valid BC driving licence and own car/similar transportation.

**Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory - as we train & provide support)**:

- Proficiency in a visual programming language like Scratch (Python knowledge is a plus).
- Hands on electronics knowledge. Experience with micro:bits, Arduino etc. is an advantage.

**Hours & Flexibility**:

- Weekdays (Monday to Friday): Choose any or all days, with 3 to 6 hours in the afternoon.
- Weekends: Full day or part days.

**Salary**: $80.00 - $100.00 per day/session based on experience and qualification. Each session is 2 to 2.5 hours plus some additional meeting and reporting time required. Average 3 hours per session.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
