Live-in Caregiver/nanny

We are a busy, energetic, and loving family looking for someone patient, flexible, andreliable to join our home. Our son Ayden has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, a speech impairment (uses an AAC device), and a wheelchair. You’ll also naturally be part of family life with his little brother. Our home is lively, sometimes hectic, but always full of love, laughter, and adventure.

**What we offer**:

**What we need**:

- Strong experience with children (essential)
- Comfort with cooking & meal prep, including soft/modified meals for Ayden
- Experience with special needs caregiving (CP, epilepsy, AAC, wheelchair) is a strong asset
- Driver’s license & safe driving skills
- CPR / First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
- A caring, patient, flexible personality that blends into family life

**Role Highlights**:

- Support Ayden’s daily routines, therapies, and mobility
- Encourage his communication using an AAC device
- Help with meals for Ayden & simple family meals
- Be present at school bus drop-off and pick-up
- Provide safe transportation for activities and appointments
- Light household management (laundry, tidying, organization)

Pay: $2,848.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Strathcona County, AB T8G 1A6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Working with persons with disabilities: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English and French (preferred)
