ECS Cares is a growing medical waste company across Canada. As a medical waste company, we provide essential services and have played a vital part in providing services to the healthcare industries throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, ECS provides services to nursing and retirement homes, vaccine clinics, pharmacies, surgical sites, harm reduction and safe injection sites, dentists, physicians and many more.

Due to the above, the customer base is very wide. For this reason, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a positive and compelling personality.

This person would be managing specific in-house accounts with the intent of improving customer satisfaction, awareness of our other products and services and introducing contract options.

**What does an Account Manager do?**

Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and the Transportation Team) to improve the entire customer experience. This position will require travel by company car throughout the week.

Ultimately, our goal is to provide clients with a one-on-one experience so that they feel valued and appreciated.

**Responsibilities**
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Communicating regularly with clients to keep them informed about pricing updates and new products or services that might interest them.
- Referring client concerns to the appropriate department for resolution.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits with clients to establish terms of engagement.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to Senior Management.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Prepare reports on account status.
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities based on trends observed.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- More education or experience may be preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for the English language.
- Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
- Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
- Extensive, accurate product knowledge.

**Salary**: $48,132.00-$53,193.00 per year
