**Title - ISO Specialist**

**Location - Toronto, Ontario, Canada (onsite only)**

**Client - Thales**

**Budget - 55 CAD per hour on C2C/TPC**

**Experience - 5 to 7 years**

**Contract Duration - 4 months ( Extendable )**

**Mandatory Skills**:

- 5 plus years of experience in information security management, with a focus on implementing and maintaining **ISO 27001-compliant ISMSs**.
- Experience in developing **security policies, procedures, and standards.**:

- Strong technical knowledge of information security technologies and tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as **CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer**, are desirable
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of an ISMS that is based on the ISO 27001 standard and ensure that it meets the needs of the organization.
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify risks and vulnerabilities and develop controls to mitigate these risks.
- Define security policies, procedures, and standards for the organization, and ensure that they are in compliance with the ISO 27001 standard.
- Lead the implementation of technical and organizational security measures to protect the organization's information assets.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training and education programs for employees, contractors, and third-party vendors.
- Review the effectiveness of the ISMS, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary
- Manage the certification process for ISO 27001, and work with external auditors to ensure that the ISMS meets the requirements of the standard.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $50.00-$55.06 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
