Weekend Egg Collector

Hutten’s Hen Haven is a large chicken operation that is looking for someone to assist in weekend egg collection at our Jarvis & Smithville location. This individual will be responsible for egg collections and other general barn duties while working in a team or individually. There is also opportunity to transition into full-time work for the summer months. If you are looking for a fast paced and challenging job this summer, then we want to hear from you

**Duties and Functions**
- Collect and sort eggs by quality and place in designated trays
- Remove feathers and manure from eggs and place on trays
- Remove inferior eggs, small and double eggs, and place in appropriate trays
- Before moving into cooler, second check for inferior eggs, remove feathers and manure
- Move full dollies into cooler room for twice weekly pick up (once weekly for 2nd quality eggs)
- Walk through breeder barn to pick up floor eggs and place on appropriate trays
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Ability to handle physical work, lifting up to 30-40 pounds
- Must be able to complete repetitive work and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to perform tasks with limited supervision
- Must have own reliable transportation

**Wages - **$18 -$22 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Weekend availability
