**How You'll Perform the Role**
The Material Handler is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing paperwork, suppling production areas with raw materials and WIP.

**Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities**:

- Loads and unloads trucks
- Process receiving and shipping documents
- Inspect vehicles used in moving stock prior to use
- Store raw material and WIP
- Supply production areas with WIP/or raw material
- Pick orders for shipments and arrange them as needed
- Input data entry on material transfers
- Alert production and/or purchasing when supplies are low
- Log and load scrap trailer
- Field enquiries from office
- Assist with monthly and annual physical inventories

**What We Need From You**
- **A valid certification for lift trucks with emphasis on Reach Trucks**:

- Two to five years’ experience in a distribution center, traffic, or a warehouse environment is needed.
- Strong math skills and a basic knowledge of computers.
- Strong Organization skills are necessary
- Ability to prioritize based on work flow
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Work overtime as required.
- Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
- The commitment to **stay safe** and to continue to **learn and develop.**:

- Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
