This is a fully remote role, on a part-time basis to start.
The Social Media Specialist will set and implement strategies that build the brand, increase followers, inspire engagement and generate leads. This individual will manage the day-to-day execution of our social efforts—from brainstorming story ideas and writing social copy to engage our community and tracking KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with our team, creative and paid media specialists to develop and execute social strategy, content and paid campaigns that build awareness and drive engagement forward our client brands.
- Plan, write and publish social calendars that reflect brand voice, style and key priorities
- Show creativity in the use of platforms and stay on top of new trends and tools as well as competitors and news surrounding your brands
- Project manage key dates, deliverables, approvals and reporting
- Analyze and report on performance to social media activity is optimized and meeting KPIs
- Strategize, plan and execute Paid Media campaigns to amplify page growth, reach and engagement
- Administration duties in the management of social accounts
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of social media content and strategy experience
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Experience with Facebook Business Manager and other analytics software
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for pop culture, marketing, and social networking
- Outstanding writing, speaking, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, coworkers and customers alike
- Excellent research skills and resourcefulness and problem solving
- Works well in collaborative environments, with a good sense of humor who thrives in a fast-paced work environment
- Proven skill and comfort in juggling multiple projects and deadlines
VALUABLE ASSETS

*Graphic design skills, proficiency with Adobe software
- SEO, Google Analytics, or Social Media (e.g., Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn)
- HTML and website design
- Project management tools like Trello, Monday, or Asana
