**PART TIME, HOUSEKEEPING & LAUNDRY AIDE** - Nithview Community, Tri-County Mennonite Homes_ - New Hamburg, ON_ **About Nithview Community**: Nithview Community is a seniors' community designed to provide several types of accommodation and services. Residents are able to choose the type of accommodation that is most appropriate for their care needs and continue to live within the community of care as their needs change. Emphasis is placed on assisting residents to live life to the fullest in this dynamic residential setting. **About the Position**: Under the direction of the Housekeeping & Laundry Coordinator, performs a variety of routine tasks associated with laundering of residents' personal clothing and linen, and housekeeping. **Qualifications**: - Must have the ability to follow oral and written instruction and be able to communicate and provide feedback on a day-to-day basis - Familiar with standard mending techniques, knowledge/experience in laundry procedures is an asset - Knowledge of proper linen and stain removal is an asset - Experience working with seniors preferred. Genuine interest in and concern for residents. - Good physical and mental health - Demonstrated maturity and tactfulness - Ability to be flexible and work both independently & as a team New employees will be required to complete a vulnerable sector check (or sign a declaration if under 18 years of age) and TB test as part of the onboarding process. Tri-County Mennonite Homes does not require COVID-19 vaccination as a part of the onboarding process, however TCMH continues to strongly recommend "up-to-date" COVID-19 vaccinations.
