Blue Planet Properties is looking for a solid team member to work and grow with the business.

Job Duities:

- Assist carpenters with construction and renovation projects including kitchens and bathrooms
- Help install drywall and be willing to learn to mud and tape
- Help install flooring as needed
- Assist with framing and demoing as needed
- Paint
- Mix and pour concrete along with form work
- Use power and hand tools
- Site prep and cleanup as needed

Qualifications:

- Be willing to learn and grow
- Able to perform physical work as required for the job (able to lift 50lbs)
- Valid driver's license, clean drivers abstract and a reliable vehicle
- 1+ year experience in carpentry (preeferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, field drawings and plans (preeferred)
- Understanding of construction trades and construction techniques
- First Aid skills and/or certificates (preeferred)
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, Elevated Lift and safety certifications (preeferred)
- Clean criminal record

**Salary**: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bracebridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
