**Position Summary**

Our Service & Installation Technician are trusted to deliver the best possible solution to our customers. They own the work they do and leverage their knowledge of our products to ensure that the job is done right the first time. They have an attention to detail to guarantee that all site protocols and health and safety standards are followed and can deal with the growing demand for our products and services. They coordinate installations, resolve all manner of service calls, and ensure a positive customer experience.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**

CCTV:

- Installation and takeover of CCTV systems (both Analog & Digital IP Systems), install and program NVR/DVR's, dress and route cables.
- Troubleshoot CCTV systems (both Analog & Digital IP Systems).
- Troubleshoot & resolve network related issues (LAN, WLAN & WAN).
- Send daily updates of time spent at each project along with deliverables accomplished.
- Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices.
- Keeps customer’s security information confidential.

Access Control System:

- Installation of Access Control, Program Access Control Panels and Systems,
- Onsite service troubleshooting of Access Control systems.
- Service of Mag Locks, electric strikes and low voltage electrical locking hardware, readers, openers, etc.

Customer Excellence:

- Provide the best possible customer service.
- Wow customers at every opportunity.
- Maintain high standard of service calls as per established procedures.

Integrity/Accountability:

- Be honest and respectful in all dealings with clients and internal team.
- Be a punctual and a reliable member of the team.

Teamwork:

- Communicates effectively in ways that enhance productivity and builds respectful relationships.
- Demonstrates active listening, written and verbal skills.

**Education/Experience**
- Post secondary education in a technology related field with an emphasis on electrical/electronics & low voltage.
- 2+ years experience working as a technician in the physical/electronic security industry would be an asset
- A clean criminal background and motor vehicle record.
- Able to use MS Office tools and experience using a Windows PC.
- A valid driver's license.

**Core Competencies**
- Job requires lifting of equipment overhead weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights in order to operate a Lift to conduct installations.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external parties.
- The ability to work independently and to prepare all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- A good knowledge and adherence to site protocols and Health and Safety policies and practices.
- Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently.

**Working Conditions**
- Client sites - indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions
- Warehouse
- Flexibility to occasionally work beyond regular working hours.
- Ability to work on-call at least one weekend per month.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
