**CONTRACT DRIVER - ROADS (MULTIPLE VACANCIES) - TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME**

**OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT**

**FILE #: 2024-69**
- Grade 12 diploma and related experience or five (5) years’ experience driving DZ vehicles. Preference will be given to those applicants who have prior experience driving a snow plow, dump truck or other similar equipment
- Ability to operate tandem and single axle trucks for road maintenance, construction and snow removal
- Previous experience in the operation of heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, as required
- Proven communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge and training under the _Occupational Health & Safety Act_
- Ability to complete tasks involving heavy pushing, pulling and lifting on a regular basis and work in an uncontrolled environment
- Proof of valid class 'DZ' driver’s license and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Pay: From $25.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
