**Summary**

The Wellbeing Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Wellbeing Department. They guide a high-impact team that delivers food security initiatives, provides one-on-one resource support, and organizes events focused on proactively addressing student wellbeing across BCIT campuses. Working from an inclusive lens, the Wellbeing Manager drives BCITSA’s equity, diversity and inclusion values and incorporates these values into their work, their team’s work and professional relationships. This position is also responsible for driving usage of the Student Health Insurance Plan.

**What You Will Do**:

- **STUDENT WELLBEING**_
- Provide leadership to the Student Wellbeing team through effective program management and financial management
- Work with the Director of Student Services to create an annual operating plan, and provide regular updates on the progress towards goals and milestones
- Work with the Director of Student Services to manage the department budget and monitor expenses and fundraising revenues
- Develop, implement and evaluate strategic student-focused wellbeing programs including but not limited to peer support programs, speaker series, workshops
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services through data driven analysis
- Ensure the Wellbeing team integrates and maintains a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of their work
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Events departments to engage students with services
- Champion student mental health resources at BCIT and participate in the development of related policies and procedures
- Manage the Wellbeing case management process together with the team, ensuring timely and organized service delivery, as well as the maintenance of thorough and accurate case notes
- **FOOD SECURITY**_
- Oversee and guide the BCITSA Food Support Hub and Food Pantry programs and ensures operational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are up-to-date and effectively followed
- Ensure staff and volunteers have required training and certifications
- Generate financial and in-kind donations for the BCITSA Food Pantry and lead customer service and stewardship for donor and fundraising projects
