As one of our Investment Specialists based in Toronto or Montreal, you’ll be a business driver for Fixed Income and engage with external clients as a proxy for our fixed income portfolio managers. You’ll represent Capital Group at speaking events, sales meetings, and point of sale presentations. You’ll serve as the primary contact to clients in delivering investment expertise and capital markets perspective about the fixed income market. You’ll excel at conducting robust quantitative/qualitative research to produce differentiated insight about portfolios.

You are a well-rounded collaborator and work skillfully with senior sales force members to provide opportunity for better investor outcomes. - You have a proven track of fixed income investment experience as a buy-side Portfolio Manager, Product Manager, Client Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Specialist, Analyst and/or Trader.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a CPM/Product Manager/Portfolio Specialist in Fixed Income
- You have a deep knowledge of the global bond markets, strategies and investment processes including investment research, portfolio management, risk control, benchmark construction and strategy design
- You have proven experience in building fixed income franchises - from idea and implementation stage, through ongoing execution with sales teams
- You have experience across vehicles: mutual funds, other commingled vehicles, and institutional separate accounts
- You’re well-versed in the distribution structures of institutional and retail channels
- You have experience in building effective and concise strategy pitch books
- You have an undergraduate degree (required) and/or an advanced business degree
- You know how to leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Factset, etc.).
- You are an enthusiastic communicator and have significant sales experience across distribution channels
