Showroom Librarian

**Merchandiser/ Memo Librarian
- JF & Co.**

Reporting to the Showroom Manager (SM), with a dotted line to the Assistant Showroom Manager (ASM), the Memo Librarian/Merchandiser is responsible for contributing financial growth and profitability of the showroom by maintaining the meticulous organization and filing of product samples, fulfillment and product merchandising.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Keep library organized in for accuracy and efficiency
- Fulfillment
- assist designers and Brand Ambassadors in the retrieval of samples requested for projects, presentations and sourcing.
- Sample memo replenishment
- Maintain the library and showroom ensuring only current product is displayed
- Responsible for showroom product placement of new collections within each Vendor.
- Assist with the opening and closing procedures
- Additional duties as requested to assist the team.

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum Grade 12 education and/or equivalent
- Industry-specific experience in retail, wholesale and/or decorating would be an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Demonstrated ability to use effective self-discipline and priority-focus in a high-end trade-only environment.
- Keen sense of urgency, organization, and communication skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and very strong attention to detail.

**Working Conditions**

The duties of this position are performed primarily in a climate-controlled showroom. The usual working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. This position may occasionally be required to work one day on the weekend.

**Training will be provided.**
